This just came up on my youtube.. So good.
Story says that a candle he had lit in his caravan did set a fire while he was sleeping with his wife, luckily they managed to escape but he had severe burnings on his left hand and his leg.
Doctors said he couldn’t play anymore guitar and his leg had to be amputated.
Guess how it ended?
He refused to get chopped and to stop playing.
He managed to continue his career discovering jazz, the fingers he severely injured kept using them for the simple chords, and was also able to walk around with a cane which is better than not having a leg at all.
What a thrive right? Definitely inspires to keep going!
